How does your fees work?
Our fee is 10% with a minimum of US$15. We calculate the fee by adding:
the item price + shipping to the US + shipping to you x 10%
How do I order, and what if I don’t like the price?
After you submit an order, we check the item and shipping costs and then send you a final quote. You pay us on our website and we then order your item. If for some reason you no longer want the item or do not like the price quoted, simply do not pay us and nothing will happen.
Is it safe to order from American Products Worldwide?
We use Paypal exclusively because they offer Buyer Protection. If we were to scam you they would refund your money. That being said, my wife and I run this service to help others save money and have access to products they might not otherwise be able to get. We are interested in seeing you happy with our service and refer us to your friends.
How long does it take to receive an item?
It usually takes between 11 and 22 days to have the item in your hands. this depends mostly on the shipping times to us and then to you
What shipper do you use?
We use the United States Postal Service for shipping because they are the least expensive option. If your package is larger than “42 on any side we will have to use FedEx.
Can I order items from Ebay?
No, as of now you cannot order items from Ebay. We are currently working on a system that will allow Ebay purchases and hope to have it up soon.
What if the item that arrives is not what I ordered?
We ship to you what is shipped to us. Because of the huge range of items ordered we can’t always tell if the item sent to us is what you ordered. If the wrong item arrives please contact us to arrange for the item to be sent back to the original store to be replaced or exchanged.
The original invoice will be checked and if I made the mistake then we will pay for the return shipping or provide compensation. If the correct item was ordered, but the store shipped the wrong item you will need to pay for the return shipping.
Why did I not receive the original invoice/receipt from the store?
You are not buying the item from the store, you are buying it from me. I buy the goods from the store in my name so I need to keep the original invoice for my tax records. This is exactly the same as if you bought an item from a store in your own country; they provide you with a receipt, but they would not provide you with a copy of their invoice from their supplier.
Normally a copy of the store invoice will be of no use to you since it is both from the USA and not in your name. Your invoice is the receipt I supply you with when your items are shipped since that is who you have bought the item from. If you would like a copy of the original store invoice, just include “please send me a copy of the order invoice” in the details box when placing your order. Because of the extra work involved there is a US$2.00 fee for this service.
